After the worldwide precautionary measures according to the Corona virus, the board of the Universal Marimba Competition and the International Percussion Youth Competition decided to postpone the edition 2020 to the dates from 10 till 18 July 2021, following the advice of the Belgian National security council to postpone all international summer events.
