UNIVERSAL MARIMBA COMPETITION APPLICATION EDITION 2026

AGE LIMIT 
The Competition is open to participants of all Nationalities and has no age limit.
As only a limited number of applicants can be accepted, it is strongly recommended to apply as early as possible. Applications are processed on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.Once the maximum number of competitors is reached, the application process will be closed. 
 

1. APPLICATION MARIMBA SOLO
All applicants of the Marimba Solo cathegory mail the application form and needed documents before the deadline of June1st, 2026.
Once you received a confirmation of your application, you will need to transfer the registration fee to assure your participation before the deadline of  June 1st, 2026. All applicants have time until June 15th to decide and to confirm their repertory.All applicants have time until June 15th 2026 to decide and to confirm their repertory.

2) The Competitor send in all application documents by email before the deadline of June 1st, 2026.

  • One high quality head shot photo.
  • A short curriculum vitae in English.
  • A copy of the bank receipt documenting the application fee..
  • Send the hotel form after hotel reservation.
  • Email the repertoire list before June 15th, 2026.

2. APPLICATION MARIMBA DUO
All applicants for the Marimba Duo ctaegory mail the application form and needed documents before the deadline of June 1st, 2026.
Once you received a confirmation of your application, you will need to transfer the registration fee to assure your participation before the deadline of Sept.20st, 2024. All applicants have time until June 15th to decide and to confirm their repertory.

3. APPLICATION MARIMBA CHAMBER MUSIC 
All applicants for the Marimba Chamber Music category (from duo up to quintet, in any instrumental combination, except percussion) must send the application form and all required documents before the deadline of June 1st, 2026. Once you received a confirmation of your application, you will need to transfer the registration fee to assure your participation before the deadline of Sept.20st, 2024. All applicants have time until June 15th,to decide and to confirm their repertory.

REGISTRATION FEE  
  1. Marimba Solo: 250 Euro
  2. Marimba Duo : 350 Euro
  3. Marimba Chamber Music: 350 Euro

-The registration fee must be paid by June 1st, 2026 via bank transfer in order to guarantee your participation.The entry fee is non-refundable, regardless of the competition’s outcome, and must be transferred net of any bank charges to the bank account indicated below. Please include your full name, your registration number + UCMB 2026 in the payment reference.
-Applications will be cancelled if the payment is not completed by the deadline.
-Participants are required to inform the organization immediately of any changes to their contact address or email.
The application will be cancelled if the organization is unable to reach you due to missing or outdated contact information.

It is required to send before the deadline of October 1st, 2024 your repertoire list. 


HOTEL FORM 
Participants are required to submit the hotel form after completing their hotel reservation, so they can be reached if necessary during the Competition.
